We are probably best known for our events. For the past seven years we have held a 2-day
Celtic Festival and Crafts Faire. Additionally we have held other entertainment events to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Hogmany (the Scottish New Year), the Ceilidh in the Glen
(a summer "party in the Park"), and educational events such as Tartan Day.
Please check the listings for upcoming events, and below that for pictures of our past Festivals and other events. Click on the event name for further details where available.
| 10th Annual Celtic Festival and Craft Faire | Fall, 2009 Due to our recent reorganization, we are too late in the festival cycle to attract vendors or quality entertainment. Thus we are unable to present the quality festival attendees have come to expect this year. The upside of this is we have a whole year to audition entertainers, and to attract and schedule vendors. We expect our best festival ever in the fall of 2009. Free admission for LCN Members and Volunteers | |
| Hogmany | December 31, 2008. Place and time to be announced | |
| St. Patrick's Day | Weekend closest to March 17th. Watch for further details. | |
| Tartan Day | April 6th. Places and events to be announced. Typically no admission fee. | |
| Ceilidh in the Glen | June 21st. Memorial Park (look for the flags) Family style potluck and something for the grill. We supply the drinks (soft). No entry fee. |
